Internally, the thing is made from an Xbox Elite Jasper system, with a 120GB hard drive and 17-inch Gateway monitor. He’s squeezed an Xbox Live camera in, and it comes complete with 12 months of Gold Live membership, a wireless 360 controller, Xbox Live headset and custom power cord supply.

The Super Nintoaster

Yep, it’s a working SNES in a stark white toaster enlivened with a red glow. The Super Nintoaster comes from the BenHeck.com forums, home of dozens of spectacular modders. vomitsaw, builder of the Super Nintoaster, has apparently tread this ground before; this effort was inspired by an older project, which involved–as you may have guessed–putting an NES into a toaster.

Fallout 3 HD Texture Pack

Those of you with those ultra-rigs should be in for a treat as a Fallout 3 HD Texture pack has been released.

This 398MB  fan-created pack swaps many of the textures in Bethesda’s post-apocalyptic RPG sequel with higher-resolution replacements, upgrading the visuals in the game, though this also places greater demands on your system.

Far Cry 2 Intel Bonus Missions

Ubisoft just released two bonus missions for the PC version of their shooter Far Cry 2. These two bonus missions (the Morrocan and the American) extend the game’s length by a whole 3 hours.

These bonus missions extend Far Cry 2’s game play by a whole 3 gripping hours. They bristle with extraordinarily coolness, and make the most of Far Cry 2’s signature graphical excellence and real-world physics modelling. Intel collaborated with developers Ubisoft Montreal, to ensure that both missions bring out the best in Far Cry 2’s unique hyper-real depiction of war-ravaged Africa. Make no mistake: this is the stuff your Intel Core 2 Extreme was made for.

Mission 1: the Morrocan – This mission sends you into the most heavily guarded region of the Leboa-Sako territory. Hiding out at the old Legion fort is a Moroccan who might be able to help you locate the Jackal. Your objective is to locate him and find out what he knows.

Mission 2: the American – Your predecessor has tracked down the American informant to the Dogon village in the rocky northern ranges. Your objective: follow his trail and find out what the informant told him.

Mod Support Coming to Steam

Five mods will soon be added to Steam starting next week! Valve has announced that it will begin offering free downloads of user-created mods. Playable so long as a user has a Source-powered game installed–such as Counter-Strike: Source, Half-Life 2 or The Orange Box–the mods will appear under the My Games listing, and will receive automatic updates like any other Steam release. The initial batch of mods slated to arrive this week are: Age of Chivalry, D.I.P.R.I.P., Insurgency, Synergy, Zombie Panic.
