Ten Indonesian survivors of an attack by the Dutch army on a village in West Java on 9 December 1947 are demanding that the Netherlands apologise for the killing of their loved ones.
During the police campaign in Indonesia from 1947 to 1949, around 150,000 Indonesians were killed.There were some 5000 Dutch fatalities; half died in the fighting, the other half of tropical diseases.
